The participants in the Sub 60 represent the top seeded 400m runners in the meet and they'll be working to get under or stay under sixty seconds depending on the race.
Our top girls come in with seed times of 62 seconds or better and will be fighting to break the one minute barrier. Top seeded Tahlie Cablayan has already been under this year and several of the girls are closing in on the mark.
Each member of the boy's field comes in with Sub-60 speed. Their challenge will be to keep under 60 as a group. It's been since the USATF Junior Olympic National finals in 2004 that an entire heat of youth boys has broken the one minute mark in Oregon.
